SumCo Eco Contracting - Director of Marketing Campaigns

Location: Salem, MA

Responsibilities:  Director of Leads, Marketing Campaigns will be responsible for positioning SumCo Eco-Contracting as the go-to contractor for ecological construction projects, ensuring consistent and sufficient high-quality opportunities for our Project Teams to meet their revenue and profit targets. Primary activities will include:

 Lead Development / Marketing o Market Analysis

 Analyze existing ecological construction market in New England

 Identify and analyze compatible construction markets in New England for service and revenue growth

 Identify and analyze similar markets in other domestic regions for geographic growth

 Coordinate with Principals and Project Team Leads on preferred/profitable project types o Marketing Strategy

 Identify key decision makers and influencers to target marketing efforts

 Develop and deploy marketing program targeting our niche ecological construction services

 Continually evaluate, adapt and refine strategies and processes o Partnership Development

 Identify and develop “customer evangelists” within design firms, NGO’s, agencies, utilities, major owners, federal/large contractors and others

 Coordinate with Project Team Leads on converting existing / new project partners (one-offs) to perpetual partners (long-term promoters)

 Advocate for design-build opportunities with partner design firms

 Lead Conversion / Sales o Lead Tracking

 Evaluate and implement best practices for contact and project lead tracking, including:

 CRM system selection, implementation and maintenance

 Lead evaluation/scoring to track timing, niche alignment, competitiveness, etc.

 Metrics for lead generation, conversion and wins

 Coordinate Project Team Lead support to lead conversion process, including site assessment visits, constructability reviews, preliminary estimates, etc.o Lead Conversion

 Manage/conduct project lead follow-up to ensure notification when projects go to bid/ proposal stage

 Facilitate lead handoff to selected Project Team (when appropriate) Requirements

 Undergraduate degree

 7-10+ years in regional / national lead management role

 Demonstrated record of implementing and administering conventional and innovative lead management processes and technology

 Experience managing, motivating and measuring a lead management team

 Able to advance company interests in a genuine manner that resonates with a variety of project partners, many deeply committed to the ecological and environmental work we pursue

 Versed in business development with a variety of clients, including Federal, State, Municipal, NGO, Utility, Commercial, etc.

 Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills

 Ambitious, creative, organized, dedicated
