Credit Loan Administrator 1



Supports the Credit department with various administrative tasks, including review of credit applications for completeness, speaking with customers, searches, regulatory compliance, document and credit file review, document scanning and special projects. 


Key Accountabilities:

Provides support to the Credit department for various tasks related to the department workflow, including but not limited to: data entry and data validation, searches, regulatory compliance, updating various systems, and scanning.

Provides support by reviewing credit applications for accuracy prior to delivery to the credit underwriters. Identifies inaccuracies and provides input to the credit underwriters.  Working with customers to obtain required information to complete underwriting.  Requires an understanding of the Credit Policy.

Helping with compliance including CIP, approval, incomplete and decline letters

Following up with customers on approved but not funded transactions to help close loans

Provides adhoc support for various credit underwriter requests needed including financial statement spreading and updating loan balance information for credit memos.  

Upholds data input quality in all Company systems to affect timely underwriting, contract structuring and documentation, and contract processing and booking, and to minimize negative impact on the applicants/borrowers or the Company. Continuously monitors work to ensure quality and looks for ways to improve and promote quality.

Other duties as required.

Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules regulations and prescribed polices/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.


Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration. or equivalent work experience.


1-2+ years’ credit loan administration experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access)

Strong verbal/written communication skills

Ability to multitask

Strong organizational skills

Customer Service and detail-oriented

Salesforce, Bank2Buiness a plus
